Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III hands-on: First look
Introduction
Samsung very recently climbed to top as the phone vendor
with most units shipped, but more importantly, it also became the maker with
most smartphones shipped. They are a big player in the Android world, so with
the announcement of their new droid flagship, fans of the OS should certainly
take notice.
The Samsung Galaxy S III is the company's new Android
flagship and it features a quad-core processor, a 4.8" 720p screen and an
8MP camera packed in a 8.6mm body (no chins this time).

Samsung Galaxy S III rumor roundup: what to expect
The event itself is said to bring us the next Galaxy
smartphone, which will most probably be called Galaxy S III (or Galaxy S3), a
name we've even in several times, including the Kies software.
At the event tonight we might see a new tablet and a new
cloud storage by Samsung.
The new Galaxy smartphone was teased numerous times before.
We've seen countdowns, pre-orders, carrier availability confirmation and
whatnot. We've even lerned that it will be offered in blue or white colors.

Is this the first legit Samsung Galaxy S3 press shot?
Props to Samsung for their success so far, but could this be
the first serious leak of the handset?
What we have on our hands today is an image that looks a lot
like what the Samsung Galaxy S3 is supposed to look like, judging by some of
the more substantial leaks from the past.
Update: The image is confirmed as old and has surfaced
before. It's certainly a mockup. Sorry about that, move along.
Now this photo didn't come with any extra info on the
handset, but the leaked specifications for the device so far detail a 4.6 or
4.8-inch SuperAMOLED screen of 720p resolution, Samsung's latest quad-core
Exynos chipset, and an 8 or 12 megapixel camera to go with those. There should also
be an extra beefier battery to make the phone last a bit longer.
Now as usual, take this thing with a pinch of salt. But our
guess is leaks won't get any better than this before the official announcement.
Even if it's some user-land fan art, we still appreciate the effort and it's a
job nicely done.

Alleged Samsung Galaxy S3 photo shows both physical and capacitive buttons
Another day, another "Next Galaxy" image, this
time sent by one of our own tipsters, who claims this is the hotly anticipated
Samsung Galaxy S3. Your guess is as good as ours whether this is a final
version, some prototype, or something else altogether, concocted through image
editing.
There is evidently a physical home key, as rumored, and two
capacitive buttons, while the whole setup resembles a lot the render from the
leaked early manual of a Samsung GT-I9300 Galaxy S3 that we saw yesterday. The
side bezel of what seems to be quite a big display is pretty thin, but we'll
leave the speculations on screen size aside, as we can't vouch whether this is
the real deal anyway.

O2 UK promises Galaxy S III availability, eventually
O2 UK just confirmed via Twitter its joining the next Galaxy
bandwagon. The carrier said it's excited about the "next Samsung
Galaxy" and that it will be coming to its stores.
They didn't see fit to clarify but we're guessing the device
in question is the successor to the Galaxy S II, that's bound to be unveiled in
London on May 3.
We've already seen the Galaxy S III (S3 or whatever) being
offered on Amazon.de and Vodafone UK despite it not even being official yet.
To recap, the next Galaxy should offer an HD display,
quad-core processor with a pretty awesome GPU and a 12 or 8 MP camera.

Samsung Unpacked app keywords refer to a Galaxy S3 title, fuzzy photo hints at the ceramic back
The keywords which Samsung used to describe its 2012 Unpacked app in the Google Play Store reveal a possible Galaxy S3 title for its upcoming flagship phone, that is about to be unveiled May 3 in London.
Given that the device has been more popular as the Galaxy S III, with Roman numerals, yet Samsung uses S3 as a keyword, and the hint from UK carrier insiders that it might not be called what everyone expects, a change from Roman to Arabic numerals could fit the description.

Samsung GT-I9300 Galaxy S III graphics benchmark appears, poised to rule them all
The Samsung GT-I9300 Galaxy S III benchmarks were hosted for
a while on GLBenchmark, left there by a careless tester. Thankfully, a tipster
took a screenshot before they were taken down, and sent it to us.
With the power of deduction we concluded last week that the
only possible scenario for a chipset in the Galaxy S III is the officially
unannounced quad-core Exynos 4412 clocked at 1.4GHz, which apparently comes
with an ARM Mali-400 GPU, but clocked at 400MHz, making it 50% faster than the
current edition in the Galaxy S II.
