Recently a user agent profile for the Verizon
version of the Samsung Galaxy S III
revealed that this variant of the phone would also have the Qualcomm
MSM8960 under the hood instead of the quad-core Exynos processor., As
previously explained, both the quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and the
quad-core Exynos processor do not work together with an LTE radio forcing
Samsung to make the change in the U.S. where LTE use is rapidly expanding.
The model listed on the user agent profile shows
16GB of native storage. There are three versions of the phone, 16GB, 32GB and
64GB and the Samsung Galaxy S III will feature a microSD slot with 64GB of
capacity. The SPH-L710 will come to market
with Android 4.0.4 installed out of the box. While no launch date has
been announced, Samsung has said that the Stateside models of the Samsung
Galaxy S III will be released sometime next month.
